Computational Linguist
We are seeking a computational linguist to (i) participate in government sponsored R&D efforts, and (ii) enhance the Semantex platform by adding new language processing capabilities. Requirements: (i) PhD preferred in Computational Linguistics, Linguistics or Computer Science; (ii) work experience in production-quality NLP systems. Expertise in discourse-level processing and/or semantics is required. Expertise in corpus-based or empirical approaches to language is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in R&D efforts involving natural language processing, and
- Enhance the Semantex platform by adding multilingual processing capabilities.
Requirements:
- PhD or Masters degree in Computer Science or Linguistics
- 3-5 years hands-on experience in development of large-scale text processing systems
- Expertise in programming required
- Linux and Windows development experience
