Award given for innovative products and services.

Janya received the BETA Star award at the annual BETAS award dinner given by InfoTech Niagara, the leading trade association for the western New York technology industry. This award is given to an entrepreneurial firm bringing unique, innovative products or services to the market that show promise of becoming major economic forces.

AFRL continues funding of advanced text analytics research.

Janya was recently awarded a pair of SBIR Phase 2 contracts by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Rome, NY as additional follow on awards to a decade of successful research and development. The awards, for Fusion of Entity Information from Textual Data Sources and Enabling Visualization of Event Information from Unstructured Text, total nearly $1.5 million and will extend for two years. Receipt of these two new awards will allow Janya to extend development of cutting-edge technology in advanced text analytics, information extraction and text mining.

New office to focus on government business.
