Semantex™ is designed from the ground up to be highly modular and cross-platform. Semantex has been successfully used in classified and enterprise IT environments solving different problems through information extraction, while affording seamlessly integration into complex workflows.

Semantex now supports a web services standard SOAP interface for processing requests and response. A client server model of deployment is now possible for use in applications requiring IE subsystems.
Semantex can process text from many sources, including news feeds, blogs, transcribed audio, legacy text corpuses, surveys, database records, e-mails, and XML records as well as commercial content providers such as Factiva. Semantex can also be used with data ingestion tools such as Kapow. The Semantex platform is packaged with pre-processing tools that normalize the data from a variety of formats before extracting information.
Semantex can generate the extracted information in a variety of formats including XML, application-specific formats. It also supports proprietary and open source database management systems for use by Business Intelligence or other applications. It can also directly feed visualization tools such as WebTAS, VisuaLinks, Thetus and other analytics or reporting applications.
