Overview
Information discovery through text analytics concerns the automatic analysis of large volumes of electronic data with the goal of detecting entities, their descriptions, associations and events. Information reflecting either novel intelligence or changes to current knowledge are stored in a semi-structured relational index for use in populating the databases that drive visualization and link analysis tools and intelligence systems.
